WWE's Bayley Announces Michael Misa to Sharks with No. 2 Pick in 2025 NHL Draft Video

WWE star Bayley announced the San Jose Sharks’ No. 2 overall pick, Michael Misa, at the 2025 NHL Draft.

The draft, taking place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, welcomed Bayley's San Jose shout out with a string of boos for their cross-town rivals being loyal to the Los Angeles Kings.

Walking on stage to announce the second pick to her hometown, she said:

"It is a huge honor to be here tonight and a huge honor to represent my San Jose Sharks," She said, to which she received boo's from the Los Angeles crowd. "Hey! Better watch them boo's alright."

Misa, a winger from the Saginaw Spirit, led the OHL in scoring with 134 points during the regular season — the highest total across all major junior leagues.

He racked up 62 goals and 72 assists in 65 games, with Bleacher Report’s Hanna Stuart drawing comparisons to NHL stars Macklin Celebrini, Brayden Point and Kirill Kaprizov.

"Misa is thoroughly engaged on every shift, whether he has the puck or not, and even when he's having an off-night, he's a threat," Stewart wrote. "You'll think his opponent is going to accomplish something only for him to come in on the forecheck and take the puck away before the other team has even recognized the threat. And he'll finish it off by finding his teammates with a ridiculous pass that shouldn't work but does anyway."
