Eagles' Kendall Lamm Calls Out Fake Quote Ripping Dolphins' Culture After FA Exit

Zach BacharJun 26, 2025

Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Kendall Lamm fired back at fabricated quotes in which he disparaged the culture of the Miami Dolphins, his former team.

“I keep getting sent this article, apparently, that someone has said I slammed Dolphins culture,” Lamm said in an Instagram post, via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. “One, I don’t remember talking to any reporter about anything that we really dealt with Miami and the Dolphins. Two, I was never raised that way to sit there and comment on certain things as far as culture and everything else within the locker room. Three, I have no animosity, no ill will or bad intentions toward Miami or anybody down there whatsoever. I enjoyed my time in Miami and it’ll be near and dear to me forever."

"When it comes to this article that I’m being sent, that’s been published, unless I just completely forgot doing this, it must have been misconstrued or taken out of context, because I have nothing but the utmost respect for everyone in Miami and the people in Miami know that," he added.

Lamm was initially credited with comments he supposedly made about players showing up on time as well as the lack of a toxic environment during his time with the Eagles, which was something that he hadn't experienced with Miami (h/t Yahoo Sports).

The 33-year-old never had an interview in which he actually said those things, though.

Lamm appeared in 33 games across three seasons with the Dolphins from 2022-24. He signed a one-year contract worth roughly $1.5 million with the Eagles as a free agent in March.

Miami missed the playoffs during his final year with the team, finishing with a record of 8-9 in 2024. Meanwhile, Philadelphia defeated the Kansas City Chiefs to win Super Bowl LIX by the final score of 40-22.

While the success of both teams was drastically different last season, Lamm called out fake quotes of him criticizing his former squad.
