Taylor Swift Makes Surprise Performance in Video from 'Tight End University' Concert

When the biggest pop star in the world is dating the most famous tight end in the NFL, it's only fitting the pop star would show up to perform as part of the Tight End University event in Nashville.

As part of the Tight Ends and Friends benefit concert on Tuesday night, Kane Brown introduced Taylor Swift as a surprise guest to play her song "Shake It Off" for the crowd.

Brown was the closing act as part of the concert festivities at the Brooklyn Bowl. He was in the midst of his set when he asked the crowd if they cared if he brought out a special guest when Swift appeared.

Per Bryan West of The Tennessean, Tuesday marked the first live performance for Swift since the Eras Tour ended on Dec. 8. There was speculation ahead of time that she could make an appearance at the concert after being seen in a Nashville bar with Travis Kelce on Monday night.

West noted tickets for the show immediately sold out after Swift was seen in the city. The venue holds a capacity of 1,200 people. Kelce was sitting in a VIP section, along with Swift's friend, Abigail Anderson Berard, and Berard's husband when she took the stage.

There were a total of 75 confirmed tight ends who took part in TEU this week leading up to the concert.

Tight End University was started in 2021 by Kelce, George Kittle and Greg Olsen. It is a three-day event that brings together players at the position for an "immersive program" that includes film study, on-field drills, recovery and rehabilitation.

Kelce and Swift have been dating since 2023. She has frequently attended Chiefs games over the past two years. He joined her onstage for a surprise appearance as part of the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London on June 23, 2024.
