Caitlin Clark Scores 6 as Fever Beat Skylar Diggins, Storm for 7th Win of WNBA Season

Andrew PetersJun 25, 2025

Caitlin Clark's shooting woes continued on Tuesday, but the Indiana Fever picked up a much-needed win over the Seattle Storm, 94-86.

Clark finished with just six points, going 3-of-13 from the field and 0-of-6 from deep. The reigning Rookie of the Year has gone 1-of-23 from deep over her last three games.

But even though her shot wasn't falling, she contributed in other ways, dishing nine assists and picking up three steals.

Indiana counted on big games from Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell in the win. Boston dropped 31 points and eight boards while Mitchell had 26 points.

Skylar Diggins led the way for Seattle with 22 points, but it wasn't enough on a night where the Storm shot just 8-of-28 from three.

With the win, Indiana improved to 7-7 on the year to move into third place in the Eastern Conference as the Fever look to make another playoff appearance.

While Clark hasn't had her typical success from three over the past few games, head coach Stephanie White made it clear earlier this week that she'll find her shot eventually.

“I think the biggest thing is what we as a staff have to do to get her better looks, higher quality looks," White told reporters on Sunday. "Every game plan is going to be to make her score inside the three-point line, and the different ways that they're going to do that. Physicality, coverage, showing bodies. We have to do a better job of getting her higher-quality looks. I'm not worried about Caitlin's shot. Caitlin's shot is going to be just fine.
