Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese posted an 18-point, 17-rebound double-double alongside six assists and four steals en route to a 97-86 home win over the Los Angeles Sparks.
Sky center Kamilla Cardoso added a game-high 27 points on 10-of-15 shooting and seven rebounds for Chicago, which improved to 4-10 on the season. Ariel Atkins had 13 points and five assists, while rookie Hailey Van Lith posted six points off the bench.

Sparks forward-center Azurá Stevens led the Los Angeles Sparks with 21 points while adding seven rebounds, four steals and four blocks. Kelsey Plum scored 20 points, while Dearica Hamby pitched in 15 points alongside seven boards and five assists.
The difference in this game was on the boards, where Chicago out-rebounded L.A. 36-27. Reese obviously led that effort with nearly half of the Sky's rebounds.
Chicago also bounced back after a rough first quarter, losing 29-17 after 10 minutes. However, Chicago battled back and outscored Los Angeles by 23 for the remainder of the game, including 30-17 in the fourth quarter alone.
As for Reese, she had some key moments in this one, such as showing off her ball-handling and passing skills and finding Cardoso early for two.
Reese later found Ariel Atkins with a smooth bounce pass for another bucket.
Cardoso was fantastic, too, of course, routinely causing problems for the Sparks down low. She drew the Sparks' attention and dished this feed to Reese, who finished the job to continue Chicago's paint dominance.
However, Cardoso's biggest moment was when she finished a layup off a pick-and-roll with Rachel Banham to break a 72-all tie in the fourth. Chicago led the rest of the way.
Chicago will now look for two straight wins when it starts a four-game road trip beginning Friday at the Golden State Valkyries.
