Buccaneers to Wear 'Creamsicle' Jerseys Week 15 vs. Falcons for 50th Anniversary
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are celebrating their 50th NFL season by wearing their legendary "creamsicle" jerseys in a Dec. 11 home contest against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Bucs announced the news when they revealed their game themes for the 2025 home slate.

The creamsicle color was a staple of the team's uniform from the franchise's inception in 1976 through the 1996 season.
As Buccaneers Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford noted in a press release, the team's game themes are in honor of various people and things, with the Creamsicle-themed game a nod to the past.
"As we celebrate our 50th season, we are committed to honoring the past, highlighting the present, and laying the groundwork for the next exciting era of Buccaneers football," Ford wrote. "From commemorating iconic players and moments to advancing meaningful initiatives that impact our community, this year's game themes will celebrate our rich history and provide our fans with a truly unique and special gameday experience as we celebrate this momentous season."
The Bucs notably wore the creamsicle uniforms for a game last year, losing 31-26 at home to the Falcons on Oct. 27.
However, Tampa Bay got the last laugh on the season, holding off the Falcons down the stretch to win the NFC South with a 10-7 record. Atlanta finished 8-9.
The Falcons at Bucs matchup on Dec. 11 will be a Thursday Night Football affair and could very well go a long way toward determining the NFC South winner this year too. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET.
