Twitter Reacts as Manchester City Reportedly Pay £49M Fee for Raheem Sterling
The drawn-out Raheem Sterling-Liverpool saga appeared to reach a close on Sunday, as John Cross of the Mirror reported that Liverpool and Manchester City reached a £49 million agreement for the wantaway Englishman.
Naturally, there was a bit of shock at the hefty fee to be paid for the 20-year-old, who, while undoubtedly talented, will be lined up next to other figures who have commanded such big price tags.
