St. Louis Blues Unveil New Logo and Jerseys for 2025-26 NHL Season in Video, Photos

The St. Louis Blues dropped their new logo, which took inspiration from their original look in the NHL, on Tuesday.

The Blue Note logo features a more streamlined blue and yellow design:

The jerseys reflect the new simplicity and borrow heavily from what the Blues have worn before in the Winter Classic:

"The heritage jersey reflects the rich, compelling history of the St. Louis Blues, and it is one of the most classic jerseys in the National Hockey League," Blues chairman Tom Stillman said. "The response of Blues fans to this jersey has been overwhelming, and we are pleased to share the updated versions with our supporters everywhere."

Teams competing in the Winter Classic have often embraced the past in terms of uniform design. Earlier this season, the Blues went into their archives and used a 1966 prototype to create a cream sweater with a St. Louis wordmark on the front.

The Blues' new home and away threads, meanwhile, are strikingly similar to what they wore for the 2017 and 2022 Winter Classics.

"Playing in three Winter Classics gave us the opportunity to explore elements of our past that produced remarkable designs, validating the strong affinity for heritage blue becoming our primary team color shared by our fans and players," team president Chris Zimmerman said. "The evolution of the Blue Note, and development of additional brand marks, provides our fans new ways to express and celebrate their support for the St. Louis Blues."

This is the Blues' first major rebrand since 1998, and it will be the first time since 1984 that their color palette has been royal blue and yellow. They added a red accent to their design ahead of the 1984-85 season, which remained until St. Louis pivoted to a navy blue and yellow logo in 1998.
