MLB revealed its latest update in the voting for the 2025 All-Star Game on Monday, and the two reigning MVPs are leading the way.

New York Yankees star slugger Aaron Judge and Los Angeles Dodgers two-way star Shohei Ohtani are the leading overall vote-getters in the American and National Leagues, respectively, with just a few days left before Phase 1 of the voting closes on Thursday.

Judge has cooled off after his torrid start to the 2025 season, but he still leads the majors with a .367 batting average and 105 hits. He also ranks second with 27 home runs and fifth with 61 RBI. The Yankees (45-32) have been in a rut lately with three wins in their last 10 games, but the two-time AL MVP still makes them one of the top contenders in the American League. He's in line for his seventh career All-Star selection.

Ohtani, who is on the verge of his fifth straight All-Star selection, sits right behind Judge with 26 home runs this season while hitting .291 and adding 49 RBI. He made his return to the mound earlier this month for the first time since 2023, most recently pitching a scoreless inning in Sunday's 13-7 win over the Washington Nationals. The Dodgers have the best record in the National League at 48-31 and look to be in a great position to defend their World Series title.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and Ohtani's Dodger teammates Freddie Freeman and Will Smith are the only other players besides him and Judge to have over 2 million votes for the All-Star Game. After the Phase 1 voting returns are in, fans will have the chance to vote on the All-Star Game starters in Phase 2 from June 30 to July 2.

The 2025 MLB All-Star Game will be held on July 15 at Truist Park in Atlanta. It can be expected that fans will be in for another exciting edition of the Midsummer Classic.
