
Giants' Justin Verlander, Wife Kate Upton Announce Birth of Son Bellamy Brooks
San Francisco Giants pitcher Justin Verlander and model Kate Upton had a baby boy last week, according to Yi-Jin Yu of Good Morning America.
Bellamy Brooks Verlander was born on June 19 and is the couple's second child, following the birth of daughter Genevieve Upton Verlander in 2018.
Verlander, 42, has had his struggles on the bump this season, going 0-2 in 11 starts with a 4.45 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 47 strikeouts in 56.2 innings.

It is not the dominant form that became the norm for the nine-time All-Star, three-time Cy Young award-winner, two-time champion and one-time MVP in his Hall of Fame-worthy career, though Father Time has likely finally had his say in the matter. Prior to the season, Verlander let it be known that he still hopes to pitch until he's 45.
The Giants are 44-34 on the season and 3.5 games back of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the loaded NL West.
