Álvarez teased the possibility of a career change during the promotional tour for his upcoming fight against Terence Crawford, set for Sept. 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The 34-year-old boasts an impressive professional record of 63-2-2 with 39 knockouts. One of his only two defeats came at the hands of the legendary Floyd Mayweather in 2013, a bout he lost by unanimous decision.
His opponent in September, Crawford, has already dipped his toes into the WWE spotlight. The undefeated champion made a surprise appearance on Friday Night SmackDown last July, where he delivered a knockout punch to Austin Theory, showcasing his flair for the entertainment side of combat sports.
For the foreseeable future, Álvarez's focus remains locked on his next challenge—taking down the undefeated Crawford, who enters their September clash with a pristine 41-0 professional record.
