Joey Chestnut Defeats Livvy Dunne and More Stars in Chicken Finger Eating Contest

Joey Chestnut emerged victorious over several celebrities, including former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne, in a chicken finger eating contest at Fanatics Fest in New York City on Friday.

Chestnut consumed 40 chicken fingers in five minutes, defeating two other star-studded teams that were attempting to bring him down in the competition (via TMZ Sports).

One team featured Dunne, DJ Khaled, Druski and Michael Rubin while the other consisted of Dominik Mysterio, Julian Edelman and two fans.

Chestnut, a competitive eating legend, easily won the contest and defeated both teams looking to secure a victory. At one point, Dunne tossed her chicken fingers to fans watching the event.

Chestnut was able to get some practice in ahead of the 2025 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on July 4.

The 41-year-old announced his return to the competition on Monday after he was temporarily banned in 2024 due to a sponsorship deal.

Chestnut has won the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest a record 16 times and also holds the event record with 76 hot dogs eaten in 2021.

As he gears up for the 2025 event, he showcased his competitive eating prowess by defeating Dunne and multiple other stars in a chicken finger battle on Friday.
