Tom Brady Attacked by Eli Manning During Cody Rhodes' WWE Entrance at Fanatics Fest

Mike ChiariJun 20, 2025

Legendary NFL quarterbacks Tom Brady and Eli Manning brought their rivalry to the world of professional wrestling Friday at Fanatics Fest in New York City.

Fans at Fanatics Fest can make an authentic WWE entrance, and Brady did precisely that, carrying a belt on his shoulder to the tune of WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes' theme song:

Brady grabbed Manning's New York Giants jersey from a fan in the crowd and tore it in half, which prompted Manning to run up and playfully jump on Brady's back.

Eli did a WWE entrance of his own Friday, making his way down the aisle to the music of "The Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns, and using his "Acknowledge me" catchphrase:

Brady is widely regarded as the greatest quarterback and possibly the greatest player in NFL history.

Over the course of his 23-year NFL career with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2000 to 2022, Brady won a record seven Super Bowls to go along with five Super Bowl MVP Awards, three NFL MVP Awards, 15 Pro Bowl nods and three First Team All-Pro selections.

Brady is also the NFL's all-time leader in career passing yardage (89,214) and passing touchdowns (649).

The future Hall of Famer reached the Super Bowl 10 times in all, losing only three of them. Two of those losses came at the hands of Manning and the Giants.

Manning seemed to be Brady's Kryptonite, as he and the G-Men shocked Brady and the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, beating them 17-14.

The Pats were heavy favorites in that game after going a perfect 16-0 during the regular season, but the Giants denied them the opportunity to join the 1972 Miami Dolphins as the only teams in NFL history to have a perfect season.

Four years later, the Giants upended the Patriots again, defeating them 21-17 in Super Bowl XLVI. Manning was named Super Bowl MVP for the second time as well.

While friendly, the Brady vs. Manning rivalry was a great one that would have translated well to WWE. Although it is hard to imagine Brady and Manning ever truly mixing it up in the squared circle, fans got a little taste of what it would be like at Fanatics Fest.
