Ravens' Rashod Bateman Hypes Lamar Jackson, Says Rest of NFL Is 'In Trouble' In 2025
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman is excited to see how Lamar Jackson looks during the upcoming 2025 season.
"He does look skinnier, quicker and faster," Bateman said during a Wednesday appearance on The Insiders (h/t NFL.com's Michael Baca). "The league is in trouble, per usual."

The Ravens will be trying to clinch a fourth consecutive playoff berth and third straight AFC North title in 2025, while Bateman and Jackson will be entering their fifth year as teammates.
Jackson is looking to build upon an impressive 2024 campaign, completing 66.7 percent of his throws for 4,172 yards and 41 touchdowns compared to a mere four interceptions. He also led the NFL by averaging 8.8 yards per pass attempt.
The dual-threat quarterback remained effective on the ground, rushing for 915 yards and four touchdowns across 17 games.
Jackson failed to capture a second consecutive MVP award, though. He narrowly finished as a runner-up to Buffalo Bills signal-caller Josh Allen in the closest MVP race since 2016.
As for Bateman, he established himself as one of Jackson's top targets in 2024. He hauled in 45 receptions for a career-high 756 yards and nine scores.
Bateman was rewarded with a three-year, $36.75 million contract extension from Baltimore on June 5.
Jackson is attempting to put together another strong year in 2025 and his teammates are already taking notice of his offseason preparation.
