Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes Explains Difference in Storage of Super Bowl, AFC Title Rings

Patrick Mahomes made it pretty clear on Wednesday that he doesn't value his AFC Championship rings all that highly, at least compared to the three Super Bowl rings he's already earned.

"I'll put it this way, I put some [of my rings] in my safe, I put the other ones on top of my safe," he told reporters.

Presumably the three Super Bowl rings are in the safe, while the five AFC Championship rings are standing guard outside of it. One would imagine most players wouldn't value any team accomplishments nearly as highly as a Super Bowl title.

That Mahomes already has three championships, five Super Bowl appearances and two MVP awards—before he's even turned 30—is wildly impressive. He'll be hoping to add more to the safe in the years to come, both in it and on top.
