The injury occurred when Sane tripped Morgan by grabbing her ankle and driving her to the mat. As Morgan tried to brace her fall, she landed awkwardly on her shoulder.
Sane attempted to follow up with a headlock, but Morgan quickly rolled out of the ring, clutching her arm and leaning against the barricade in visible pain.
The 31-year-old was seen looking back toward the ring, shaking her head and grimacing as officials assessed her condition.
In addition to her 57-day reign as women's tag team champion, Morgan recently sparked tension with former Divas champ Nikki Bella, who returned to Raw last week to promote Evolution—the long-anticipated revival of the all-woman premium live event that originally debuted in 2018.
Morgan interrupted Bella's return segment, sparking a heated exchange that hinted at a budding rivalry. However, that storyline may now be paused following Morgan's shoulder injury on Monday.
