Dodgers' Mookie Betts Reacts to Rafael Devers Trade to Giants from Red Sox
Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts called it "crazy" to see the Boston Red Sox trade slugger Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants.
"Nothing really to say, it’s just crazy," Betts said, per The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya.
A lot of MLB fans compared the Devers deal to when Boston shipped Betts to the Dodgers. Both were homegrown talents and multi-time All-Stars. This is also another example of the Red Sox seemingly getting a surprisingly low return for an established vet.

Betts is in his sixth season with Los Angeles and has won a pair of World Series titles in Dodger blue. He has little reason to be bitter about his 2020 trade or feel any particular way about the Red Sox.
Aside from his initial reaction, the 2018 American League MVP was indifferent toward Sunday's blockbuster.
"I genuinely don't care," he said. "It just is what it is."
When it comes to Devers' new team, Betts sees this as another sign the Giants "care" as an organization about contending.
"Those guys over there are doing a great job of putting a team together and obviously, they want to win," he said.
San Francisco is second in the National League West at 41-31, two games behind the Dodgers. The Giants are clearly going for it this year, and Devers can be a face of the franchise for a long time to come since he's signed through 2033.
They can only hope to reap similar rewards to what Los Angeles has with Betts.
