2025 MLB All-Star Jerseys, Hats for HR Derby, Workouts Revealed in Photos
A number of items that will be worn by the American League and National League during All-Star Game festivities this summer dropped on MLB Shop Monday.
This season, MLB is returning to All-Stars wearing their team's uniform during the All-Star game rather than an American or National League uniform, returning to the practice the league used between 1930-2019. The uniforms seen above are for the Gatorade Workout Day and the T-Mobile Home Run Derby (though participating players in the Derby will wear their individual team uniforms).
The decision to have players wear American or National league uniforms during the All-Star Game, rather than their team's jersey, was not a popular one, making the this year's switch inevitable. Whether fans enjoy the uniforms created for the other festivities this season remains to be seen.
This year's All-Star Game will be held at Atlanta's Truist Park on Tuesday, July 15 at 8 p.m. ET. Voting for the game's rosters is currently live.
The American League is on a torrid streak in the event, winning 10 of the past 11 meetings with the National League. Since 2000, the American League holds a 19-4-1 advantage.
The Home Run Derby will be one day earlier, featuring eight players and three rounds. Los Angeles Dodgers' slugger Teoscar Hernández is the defending champion after winning the event last year in his first time competing.
