Fever's Caitlin Clark Doesn't Expect to Be on Minutes Restriction After Injury Return
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark will be a full go for Saturday's matchup against the New York Liberty.
Clark is set to make her return to the lineup after missing the last five games with a quadriceps injury. When asked if she would be on a minutes restriction, she answered that she would be fully available and that she is not a "fan of minute restrictions."

“I’m not a huge fan of minutes restrictions, I think they’re silly," Clark said, per Chloe Peterson of the Indianapolis Star. "I told them, ‘I don’t want to come back unless I’m full go.’”
Clark has been out since May 26, and the Fever have gone 2-3 in her absence. She averaged 19 points, 9.3 assists and six rebounds across the four games she did play in 2024.
She is coming off a rookie season in which she averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds and won the league's rookie of the year award. She had helped guide the Fever to a 20-20 record and their first playoff berth since the 2016 season.
While getting her back will be a major boost to the Fever lineup, the task against the Liberty will still be daunting. New York is currently 9-0 and has outscored opponents 814-643 on the season.
The game is set to tip off at 3 p.m. ET.
