After a couple of enthralling weeks on the grass at the All England Club, only No. 1 Novak Djokovic and No. 2 Roger Federer remain standing, and they are set to face off in what promises to be an epic Wimbledon final.

Federer has emerged victorious at Wimbledon seven times, with his last victory coming in 2012. He's played some of his best tennis in years through six matches at the 2015 tournament at All England Club.

Djokovic is the tournament's defending champion and will be looking to claim his third Wimbledon title. Through his six matches, he dropped just two sets—both to Kevin Anderson in a marathon fourth-round match.

While both players are certainly deserving of berths in the final, they have reached this point with completely different styles of play. Djokovic relies on outlasting his opposition with a variety of precise shots during rallies, and Federer boasts a dominating serve. Those contrasting styles only add to the final's intrigue.

Wimbledon Men's Final Prediction

Djokovic has been extremely solid against some diverse competition at All England Club. The No. 1 seed flourished against each opponent due to his ability to sustain rallies, making adjustments to keep his foe guessing and capitalizing with precise winners.

The Serb doesn't have a massive serve and isn't one to accumulate aces, but he does put the ball in play in a position that allows him to maintain the upper hand throughout a rally. That was evident in his semifinal matchup against Richard Gasquet, as Djokovic won 78 percent of his first-serve points while the Frenchman managed to win just 30 percent of his receiving points.

In that match, Djokovic's ability to play aggressively on offense and maintain solid defense shone through. On offense, he won a total of 26 of a possible 39 net points while accumulating 46 winners against 22 unforced errors. Meanwhile, his stalwart defensive tactics led to winning 40 percent of receiving points.

Djokovic credited Boris Becker for improving his mental approach, a factor that was prevalent so far at Wimbledon, as the No. 1 seed appeared calm in all situations. Here's what he had to say during a press conference, via Wimbledon's website:

It's about the mental approach, I think, especially when you're in the big tournaments and you're facing different adversities on the court, especially in the later stages of Grand Slams when things are getting tougher from every point of view. It's where I think [Becker's] contribution is the biggest to me and to the team.

The world No. 1 will need that mental toughness for his upcoming match against Federer. While Djokovic has been playing very well, he did show a weakness against Anderson's big serves, and considering how well the No. 2 seed has been serving to this point, that may come into play once again.

Federer dropped just one set so far at Wimbledon due to his ability to pounce quickly on his opposition with a strong serve. He's been phenomenal in that department on the grass at All England Club, winning at least 79 percent of his first-serve points in each match.

After accumulating 20 aces and winning 84 percent of his first-serve points against a baffled Murray—who won just 23 percent of his receiving points—in the semifinal, Federer spoke of his form during a press conference, via Matt Trollope of Wimbledon's website:

Today I was clearly able to play very well from the start. The beginning was always going to be an important part of the game. I had to save break point first, then I was able to start rolling on my serve. Played a great game to break. I mean, definitely one of the best matches I've played in my career. The first set, I don't remember point by point, but it was definitely really, really solid.

"

While Federer's services have been stellar, they've hardly been the only reason for his success at Wimbledon. He's also been very strong on rallies, moving with agility and possessing a powerful forehand capable of producing winners against top-notch competition. He's been extremely accurate as well, limiting unforced errors with consistency—he tallied more than 12 in just one match.

It's very difficult to find any blemishes in Federer's game right now. His serves are great, he's strong during rallies, he's playing brilliant defense and he isn't making many mistakes. That is a winning combination, and not even the world's No. 1 player will be able to overcome a player with so much momentum and confidence heading into the final.
