Gold Cup 2025 Odds, Schedule and Predictions for Group Stage and KO Bracket
The United States men's national team enters its last tournament before the 2026 FIFA World Cup without most of its top stars.
Mauricio Pochettino is bringing a younger, inexperienced USMNT to the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup.
The USMNT is not viewed as the favorite to win the North American competition. Reigning champion Mexico has that honor.
The Gold Cup typically pits the USMNT and Mexico against each other in the final, but with the current roster the Americans have, El Tri could be pitted against Canada, Panama or Jamaica in the title match instead.
The Gold Cup kicks off on Saturday with Mexico's Group A clash against the Dominican Republic.
The USMNT's first match is on Sunday against Trinidad and Tobago.
The full Gold Cup schedule can be found here on Concacaf.com.
2025 Concacaf Gold Cup Odds

Mexico (+170; bet $100 to win $170)
United States (+200)
Canada (+550)
Saudi Arabia (+900)
Panama (+1200)
Jamaica (+1400)

Group Stage Predictions
2 of 3
The outlook could not be more different for the two Concacaf powerhouses.
Mexico is expected to cruise through Group A with Raul Jimenez and Santiago Gimenez leading the charge up top.
The USMNT will not have Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, Sergino Dest, Yunus Musah and Gio Reyna among others for the Gold Cup.
The expectation is still for the Americans to get out of Group D, but based off the 4-0 friendly loss to Switzerland, it will require more work to get out of the group.
Guest team Saudi Arabia is no slouch and Haiti and Trinidad and Tobago will give the Americans their best shot.
At this point, just advancing out of the group is the expectation for an American group learning on the fly on how to play on the international level.
Canada, Honduras, Panama and Jamaica are the clear favorites to advance out of the other two groups.
Canada hasn't reached a Gold Cup final since 2000, and with its full arsenal of talent available, it could make a deep push into the final.
Panama and Jamaica have each made the final twice since 2013. Panama fell to Mexico in the 2023 title match.
Group Stage Predictions
Group A: 1. Mexico, 2. Costa Rica, 3. Dominican Republic, 4. Suriname
Group B: 1. Canada, 2. Honduras, 3. El Salvador, 4. Curacao
Group C: 1. Panama, 2. Jamaica, 3. Guatemala, 4. Guadeloupe
Group D: 1. United States, 2. Saudi Arabia, 3. Haiti, 4. Trinidad and Tobago
Knockout Round Predictions
3 of 3
The Gold Cup is Mexico's tournament to lose.
El Tri captured the Concacaf Nations League crown earlier this year and enters the Gold Cup in solid form with three wins in the last four games.
Mexico has more attacking firepower than any team in the tournament with the Jimenez-Gimenez duo.
El Tri will cruise through Group A, and it would surprise no one if they run rampant into the championship match set for July 6 in Houston.
The path for each quarterfinalist will be determined after the group stage, but no matter where the USMNT land, you have to be concerned about its potential to compete with any of the continental powers.
Canada should be considered the clear No. 2 favorite in the tournament with Panama a close third.
A semifinal run might even be too much for the USMNT, especially with a major lack of experience up top. None of the forwards on the roster have more than 16 international appearances and four goals at this level.
Prediction: Mexico over Canada
