Dak Prescott Praises George Pickens' Attitude, 'No Concerns' After Cowboys Trade
George Pickens had some missteps with the Pittsburgh Steelers that led to concerns about his attitude, but Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott hasn't seen those issues come up with his new teammate.
“It's a guy that loves football, loves his teammates, and he's been excited every day that he's been there," Prescott told reporters. "He's been early, too, so no concerns on the personal matters of G.P. or anything about it. I'm just super excited that he's on our team.”
Pickens gave teams reason to be wary of trading for him over the past few years. The wide receiver reportedly was late to several team meetings and showed up to the Steelers' Christmas Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs just an hour and 25 minutes before kickoff despite head coach Mike Tomlin requiring the team to show up at least two hours before, per The Athletic's Mike DeFabo.

Pickens also has had plenty of on-field issues, mainly scuffles with opposing teams.
But Prescott gave Pickens the stamp of approval, and it seems he's looking to start fresh in Dallas. Pickens has enjoyed a solid start to his career and recorded 900 receiving yards and three touchdowns last season. He'll to put together a breakout year with the Cowboys after being traded from the Steelers.
