Jim Harbaugh Explains Chargers' Practice Jersey Patches Highlighting Accomplishments
The Los Angeles Chargers have added patches to their practice jerseys ahead of the 2025 season, with players able to earn different patches if they are a captain, have made the playoffs with the team or earned an All-Pro nod, to name a few.
"Like a resumé. Kind of reminds me how a [military] general has different patches," head coach Jim Harbaugh told reporters Wednesday. "... Some day they'll be able to put that jersey up in a frame, put it on a wall, say something really good about themselves, it will be what they accomplished as a pro football player. I like that."
