Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Cousins is set to be the Falcons' backup quarterback in 2025 behind second-year quarterback Michael Penix Jr. He has also been viewed as a potential trade candidate ahead of the season.
Cousins signed a four-year, $180 million contract with the Falcons ahead of the 2024 season. He threw for 3,508 yards with 18 touchdowns and 16 interceptions before being benched for Penix late in the season.
There is an "out" in his contract following the 2025 season, so his long-term future with the team may not extend beyond next season. He could serve as depth behind Penix but also could be a solution for a team that runs into quarterback troubles closer to the season.
