Jets Reportedly to Feature All 3 RBs Breece Hall, Braelon Allen, Isaiah Davis in 2025

The New York Jets are looking to attack the run game by committee in 2025.

Rich Cimini of ESPN reported that the Jets expect to utilize running backs Breece Hall, Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis in the 2025 NFL season.

"The Jets want to run the ball, and the plan is to utilize all three backs," Cimini wrote. "Hall was the focal point last season, but he rushed for only 876 yards, in part, because the offense revolved around Rodgers' passing. Hall never reached 20 rushing attempts in a game, which is difficult to believe for a player of his ability. If he's not a high-volume runner again this season, it won't be because of neglect. It will be because Allen and Davis are talented, too, and Glenn has made it clear he wants them involved."

Breece Hall saw the bulk of carries in 2024, rushing for 876 yards and five touchdowns on 209 carries. Allen had 92 carries for 334 yards and two touchdowns while Davis had just 30 carries for 174 yards and one touchdown.

The offense had more of a focus on the passing game due to the presence of veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers. However, Rodgers is out of the door after a 5-12 season and new head coach Aaron Glenn could opt for more of a ground-and-pound style.

If that's the case, utilizing all three backs could preserve their health while also creating difficult matchups for opposing defenses.
