Highlights

Miami 9, Louisville 6

With their backs against the wall, the Hurricanes found a way to win and force a Game 3.

Miami struck first with a run in the second, but the Cardinals quickly took a 3-1 lead thanks to a two-run third inning and another run in the fourth. The Hurricanes then had a big inning of their own, bringing in four runs in the fourth.

With a one-run lead in the bottom of the eighth, Daniel Cuvet came through with a clutch homer for Miami, giving the Canes a 9-5 lead.

Louisville added a run in the top of the ninth, but ultimately didn't have enough to mount a comeback and move on to Omaha. Now, the winner of the regional will be decided in Game 3 on Sunday.

Coastal Carolina 4, Auburn 1

For the first time since 2016 when they won it all, the Chanticleers are heading to Omaha.

After downing Auburn on Friday, Coastal Carolina capitalized on mistakes from the Tigers and completed the upset over the No. 4 seed.

Auburn scored early to make it 1-0 in the second inning, but there was little offense for either side through the first six innings. Coastal Carolina finally found some in the seventh.

The Chanticleers got their first run when Walker Mitchell hit an RBI single.

From there, errors began mounting for the Tigers. With a pair of runners on first and second, Auburn muffed a throw to first and allowed Mitchell to score. Then, with the bases loaded, pitcher Parker Carlson hit Coastal's Wells Sykes with a pitch to drive in another run.

Hayden Johnson delivered a stellar eighth inning on the mound for the Chanticleers, and Mitchell drove in a run in the eighth to make it 4-1 late.

Coastal Carolina took care of business on defense in the top of the ninth to secure a trip to Omaha.

Florida State 3, Oregon State 1

In Friday's Game 1 of the Corvallis Super Regional, it was Oregon State that rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the bottom of the ninth.

On Saturday, Florida State forced a Game 3 with a comeback win of their own.

Oregon State got on the board early in Game 2 with a Wilson Weber RBI single in the top of the first.

That was the only run the FSU pitching staff allowed all night.

Florida State tied the game in the third, scored a go-ahead run in the seventh and added one more for insurance in the eighth.

Reliever Peyton Prescott and the Seminoles defense then stepped up to close out the win.

Game 3, which will take place on Sunday at a time yet to be determined, will send its winner on to Omaha.
