Predictions for John Cena, Cody Rhodes and Full WWE Money in the Bank 2025 Match Card

The annual Money in the Bank premium live event takes place Saturday in Inglewood, California and is set to feature four matches as of Friday morning.

The men's MITB ladder match will include Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Penta, El Grande Americano, Andrade and Seth Rollins.

The women's bout has Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Roxanne Perez, Giulia, Naomi and Stephanie Vaquer.

For the non-MITB matches, John Cena and Logan Paul will battle Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes, and Lyra Valkyria will defend the Women's Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch.

Let's go through each contest and make some predictions.

Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch

The women's IC title feud has already seen Valkyria defeat her mentor once in NXT and once at Battleground last month, so Lynch finds herself in the rare position of facing someone with two wins over her.

The Man's return at WrestleMania 41 was met with cheers, but her subsequent heel turn has seen the crowd turn against her. Few people generate as much heat as she has since turning on Valkyria following their tag team title loss.

The stipulation attached to this match is that if Lynch loses, she is unable to challenge Valkyria for the title again, so this is an all-or-nothing situation for The Man.

As great as Valkyria has been as the inaugural champion, it feels unlikely she will earn a third win over one of the most decorated champions in the division.

Lynch is going to defeat her Irish compatriot and claim her first IC title in the process. It won't be a dominant victory and she may even end up resorting to cheating, but either way, she's leaving with that belt.

Prediction: Lynch wins the IC title

Logan Paul and John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso

Cena's quest to ruin wrestling has seen him join forces with Paul in an effort to help him win the World Heavyweight Championship from Uso. But before we get a rematch between the social media star and Jey, they will compete in a tag match.

Rhodes returned at Saturday Night's Main Event on May 24 and has continued his alliance with Uso to take on the two biggest villains in WWE.

Cena joining forces with Paul has done exactly what it was designed to do and gotten more heat on the undisputed WWE champion, but that alliance is also going to cost him.

The most logical outcome here is for Paul to eat the pin, likely from Uso while Cena and Rhodes are occupied with each other.

This will lead to a frustrated Cena agreeing to face Rhodes for the title in a rematch while Uso and Paul continue their feud separately.

Prediction: Uso and Rhodes defeat Cena and Paul

Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The lineup for this year's men's MITB includes some great competitors who are going to produce some memorable moments atop those ladders, but it feels like there is only one choice to win.

Rollins has been building himself back up into one of the top heels in WWE. He now has Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed by his side, so he feels like all but a lock to win.

Penta, Andrade and Americano don't seem to have been built up enough to win the briefcase, and Knight and Sikoa are going to be tied up in their own feud well after the PLE.

That just leaves Rollins. With this match having no rules beyond how someone wins, it's likely we will see Breakker and Bronson show up to help their leader get the briefcase and claim victory.

Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The women's MITB match is harder to predict than the men's, but there are a few names who are a lot less likely to win than others.

Perez, Vaquer and Giulia are new to the main roster and still building themselves up, so it appears too early for any of them to win the briefcase.

Bliss and Ripley are both former champions who would be easy to slot back into the main event scene, so they are definite possibilities but neither feels like a lock.

The most likely outcome to this match will be Naomi leaving the Intuit Dome with the briefcase on Saturday night. She has been one of the hottest acts in the division since turning heel, and this is the perfect way to capitalize on the heat she has been getting.

The only way this doesn't end with Naomi winning is if Jade Cargill decides to insert herself into the situation and costs her the match.
