French Open 2025 Women's Final Bracket Prediction and Prize Money at Roland-Garros

Nicholas NathansonJun 5, 2025

For the first time since 2021, the French Open women's final will be without Iga Swiatek.

On Thursday, top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka continued her clay-court dominance with a three-set victory over Swiatek, who was hoping to become the first woman in the Open Era to four-peat at Roland-Garros.

On Saturday, the 27-year-old will face Coco Gauff, with the winner taking home their first French Open title and nearly $2.9 million in prize money.

How will it all unfold?

2025 French Open - Day Twelve
Coco Gauff

Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka will face off for the 11th time in their careers.

While the two have split their first 10 matchups, Sabalenka won their most recent clay-court match 6-3, 7-6(4) at the 2025 Mutua Madrid Open.

Given that she has just knocked off the three-time defending champion Iga Swiatek and dropped just one set all tournament, Sabalenka will enter as the favorite.

But don't count out the 21-year-old American.

After struggling to stay consistent in earlier rounds, Gauff has been at her best, playing a clinical third set against Madison Keys in the quarterfinal before dominating an in-form and dangerous Lois Boisson in straight sets.

For the No. 2 seed to pull off the upset, remaining consistent on serve will be key.

She's been struggling with double faults all tournament, and given Sabalenka's ability to establish pace with ease on opponents' second serves, she'll need pinpoint precision on her first serve.

But most importantly, she'll need to use her speed and aggression to her advantage.

Gauff will need to get her moving side-to-side and control the pace early.

In the end, Sabalenka's current form should be more than enough for her to achieve the ultimate victory.

Prediction: Aryna Sabalenka over Coco Gauff in three sets
