Patrick Mahomes Gifts Texas Tech Softball Custom Jackets, Shoes in Video Before WCWS
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes hooked up the softball team from his alma mater, Texas Tech, with custom Adidas jackets and sneakers ahead of its WCWS championship series against Texas, which starts on Wednesday night.
"You've got a gift from your No. 1 fan, Patrick Mahomes, and Adidas," head coach Gerry Glasco told the team. "The goal is he's trying to get here in person before this series is over, and he said to go ahead and give you this tonight to be sure that you get it."

The Red Raiders have been a perfect 8-0 in the postseason, led by elite pitcher NiJaree Canady (1.18 ERA, 77 strikeouts in 11 career WCWS appearances), though they'll face a Longhorns team that beat them twice during the regular season.
It's all setting up for an epic finale to the 2025 season, and one that should go all three games. At the very least, the Red Raiders will be showing up in style.
