The Ryder Cup is set to take place at Bethpage Black in New York from Sept. 26-28.
Scheffler claimed his spot after a dominant month saw him win three of his last four starts.
He capped off that run on Sunday when he became the first player since Tiger Woods to defend his Memorial Tournament title.
The top six players in the Ryder Cup points rankings after the Aug. 17 BMW Championship earn automatic qualifying spots for the tournament.
Scheffler has already amassed 25,918.253 points, more than double the second-place competitor (Xander Schauffele, 11,905.841 points) and enough to clinch his spot in the tournament early.
Should the competition end today, Schauffele, Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa and Russell Henley would claim the five automatic qualifying spots behind Scheffler.
Another six players will be named to the roster when Team USA captain Keegan Bradley announces his picks after the TOUR Championship on Aug. 24, according to the tournament.
The 2025 Ryder Cup marks Scheffler's third straight time representing the United States at the tournament since his tournament debut in 2021.
The World No. 1 called playing for Team USA at the Ryder Cup "one of the greatest honors of my career" in a statement shared on the tournament's website.
Scheffler helped Team USA claim a 19-9 victory in 2021, which marked the largest winning margin in tournament history. The United States will now look to take the Ryder Cup back after Team Europe's win in 2023.
