Ally Sentnor Scores Twice, Praised By Fans as USWNT Beat Jamaica in Friendly
The United States Women's National Team got a summer full of international friendlies started last week with a win over China, and they kept the momentum rolling into Tuesday's matchup against Jamaica.
The USWNT downed Jamaica 4-0 as one of the team's young stars, Ally Sentnor, scored a pair of goals.
After a quiet start for the United States, Sentnor got things going with a goal in the 19th minute.
Less than 10 minutes later, Sentnor got her second goal to give the USWNT a comfortable 2-0 lead. They kept Jamaica off the board and went into halftime in control.
After both sides went scoreless through the first 15 minutes of the second half, Lynn Biyendolo found the back of the net just moments after checking in to make it a 3-0 lead for the United States.
Biyendolo added another late goal to make it 4-0, and that lead proved to be enough as the USWNT cruised to their second win of the week.
Fans were thoroughly impressed with Sentnor as the young star continues to find her footing on the team.
After the dominant win on Tuesday, the USWNT will now gear up for a pair of games against Ireland at the end of the month before taking on Canada in July.
