Falcons' Bijan Robinson Eyes 'Saquon-Like' Season for Explosive Plays
Atlanta Falcons third-year running back Bijan Robinson is one of the most promising young talents in the NFL, and he has his eyes set on more big plays during the upcoming season.
Robinson told Will McFadden of the team's official website (h/t Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk) that he plans to put together a season similar to Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley's 2024 campaign in terms of having more explosive plays.
"We all want it. We’re all waiting for that Saquon-type of season when it comes to explosives," Robinson said. "But I’ve been working on it a lot this offseason. And, obviously, when it gets to the season, it’s time to go show it and go do the work the right way."

Alper pointed out that Robinson ranked fourth in the NFL in runs of 12 or more yards but just 17th in runs of 20 or more yards. He finished the 2024 season with 1,456 yards and 14 touchdowns on 304 carries to earn his first career Pro Bowl selection, but he feels he can be even better in 2025.
Robinson added that the Falcons have "added so many things to this offense so we can create more explosives," so fans will certainly be excited to see him break more big plays as the team competes for a spot in the playoffs.
