Peyton Manning Joins Denver NWSL Ownership Group, Won NFL Super Bowl 50 With Broncos

Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning is joining the ownership group of the NWSL's expansion team in Denver, the club announced Tuesday.

The Denver club will join the league in 2026.

"It's a real honor to be part of something so meaningful to the Colorado community," Manning said in a statement. "I'm proud to support the growth of women's sports and excited to help build a club that our city and our state can rally behind."

Manning, 49, spent the final four seasons of his NFL career with the Denver Broncos, leading the team to four straight playoff berths, two Super Bowl appearances and a title in the 2015 campaign. The five-time MVP retired after winning a championship with the team, the second of his Hall of Fame career.
