Liberty's WNBA Championship Rings Priced at $60K, Most Expensive in League History
The New York Liberty have gone above and beyond to accommodate their players since Clara Wu Tsai and Joe Tsai took control of the organization. That wasn't going to stop after the Liberty lifted their first title.
New York's players and staffers received their WNBA championship rings ahead of a 92-78 win over the Las Vegas Aces on May 17.

According to Annie Costabile of Front Office Sports, the rings carried a price tag of $60,000 each and were the most expensive in league history.
One side of the ring shows the WNBA championship trophy and the other side is customized with each player's name and jersey number. From there, a lot of detail went into the design choices.
"The more than six carats of white diamonds mark the six years Clara Wu Tsai and Joe Tsai have owned the team," Costabile reported. "The 28 paraiba tourmaline stones represent the franchise's 28 seasons, while 32 black diamonds represent the team's 32 regular-season wins last year. Another 11 black diamonds are there to highlight their postseason wins."
The Liberty have wasted little time cementing themselves as the championship favorites in 2025. They're off to a 7-0 start and their most recent win was a 48-point demolition of the Connecticut Sun, the second-biggest win ever in a WNBA game.
Should New York successfully defend its title, the Tsais will have a hard time topping the rings they handed out last month.
