John Cena, Logan Paul Brawl with Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso at WWE SmackDown Ahead of MITB

John Cena and Logan Paul faced off against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso at WWE SmackDown on Friday night.

First, Rhodes returned to share words with Cena and Paul after he previously issued a challenge to them for a tag team match at Money in the Bank.

Then, Paul emerged to provide backup for Cena before things got physical.

Rhodes and Uso ultimately emerged victorious, holding up the titles while Cena and Paul watched in disbelief from outside the ring.

After Cena defeated Rhodes to claim the Undisputed WWE Championship and become a record-breaking 17-time world champion at WrestleMania 41, he attempted to cost Uso the World Heavyweight Championship against Paul at Saturday Night's Main Event on May 24.

Cena interfered with the match to try ending Uso's title reign early, as he just secured the World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Gunther at WrestleMania 41.

Cena's attempt was thwarted by Rhodes, who made his first appearance since losing the Undisputed title and helped Uso retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

Afterwards, the former Undisputed WWE Champion issued the Money in the Bank tag team challenge to Cena and Paul.

Money in the Bank will be in the Intuit Dome on June 7 at 7 p.m. ET.
