Paige Bueckers Out with Concussion for At Least 2 Games After Injury in Wings vs. Sky
Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers will miss at least two games due to a concussion, the team announced Friday.
Bueckers suffered the concussion during the Wings' 97-92 loss to the Chicago Sky on Thursday. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft still finished with 15 points, eight assists, five rebounds and three steals in the defeat.

She'll be reevaluated following the Wings' clash with the Seattle Storm on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Alexa Philippou.
While Dallas currently sits at the bottom of the Western Conference standings with a 1-5 record, Bueckers has been a bright spot for the team at the start of its 2025 season.
The 23-year-old has averaged 14.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game on 43.7/33.3/80.8 shooting splits. Her average of 6.7 assists on a nightly basis is also the highest among all rookies.
While Bueckers is still looking to find consistency with her perimeter jumper, there's hope that the former UConn standout can improve her long-range accuracy as the season continues after she shot 42.3 percent from three-point territory throughout her college career.
In her absence, increased ball-handling responsibilities will fall on the shoulders of Arike Ogunbowale. The four-time All-Star has already served as Dallas' leading scorer by averaging 17.7 points per game and wrapped up a 2024 campaign in which she dished out a career-high 5.1 assists per game.
The earliest that Bueckers can possibly return is against the Los Angeles Sparks on June 6.
