Jets' Allen Lazard, Girlfriend Camila Escribens Announce Engagement in IG Photos

New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard and his girlfriend Camila Escribens are engaged.

Escribens shared the news of Lazard's May 18 proposal in a post on her Instagram with the caption "onto the next chapter."

Escribens is from Lima, Peru. She was crowned Miss Peru 2023 and went on to represent Peru at the 2023 Miss Universe pageant.

Lazard, who played college football for Iowa State and was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars, played five seasons with the Green Bay Packers before signing with the Jets ahead of the 2023 season.

He totaled 37 catches for 530 yards and six touchdowns through 12 games last season before a chest injury and the arrival of Davante Adams reduced his role in the offense.

The 29-year-old, who is returning for 2025 on a restructured contract, could be seeking a larger role as a target for new Jets quarterback Justin Fields next season.
