Stephen Curry, Peyton Manning, Full Tee Times for 2025 Workday Golden Bear Pro-Am
Golf fans won't have to wait for the start of the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio, to see some star power take the course at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
The 2025 Workday Golden Bear Pro-Am was Wednesday, which grouped a number of celebrities with the best golfers in the world as something of a tournament kickoff. There was no shortage of notable "amateurs" in the event, including Peyton Manning, Stephen Curry, Larry Fitzgerald, Michelle Wie-West, Ryan Day, Nick Saban, Alex Smith, Seth Curry, Dell Curry, Andre Iguodala and Rob Lowe, among others.
Here is a look at the full list of tee times:
Manning started the day off with No. 1 golfer in the world Scottie Scheffler, as well as two of the wide receivers who caught some of his many touchdown passes in Anthony Gonzalez and Brandon Stokley.
That is far from the only notable sports pairing, as Fitzgerald and Smith were partnered with Tony Finau and then Cameron Young, while the Currys were all in the same group with Justin Rose and then Rickie Fowler.
The pro-am format features the celebrities and amateurs playing all 18 holes, while the PGA Tour golfers play nine holes and then switch.
With the tournament being just outside of Columbus, Ohio, there was surely plenty of fan interest in Ohio State head coach Day taking the course. He wasn't even the only national champion college football coach in his own grouping, as he was partnered with legendary former Alabama coach Saban.
The pair apparently had plenty to talk about:
While Manning and Curry are regulars at this event and the Golden State Warriors star is known for his golf skills, it was pretty clear with the release of the tee times who the best amateur player would be in this year's pro-am.
After all, Wie-West is a five-time winner with 49 career top-10 finishes in the LPGA. She was paired with Keegan Bradley and then Max Homa and would surely be able to give the other amateurs plenty of tips on their golf games.
Following the pro-am, the Memorial Tournament will begin Thursday.
Rory McIlroy is not in the field, but Scheffler highlights a group of competitors that includes Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Ludvig Åberg, Viktor Hovland, Shane Lowry, Hideki Matsuyama and Patrick Cantlay, among others.
