The upside that made Paige Bueckers the top overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft was on full display Tuesday.

The rookie went off against the Connecticut Sun, putting up 21 points, seven assists, five rebounds, two steals, and a block as the Dallas Wings won 109-87, securing their first victory of the season. She was efficient as well, finishing 8-of-10 from the field.

With her latest performance, Bueckers became the first player in WNBA history to score 60 points and dish out 30 assists in her first five games.

The Wings are now 1-4 on the year, while the Sun have dropped to 0-5 and are still seeking an opening win.

Tina Charles did what she could to propel the Sun to victory, putting up 27 points, while Marina Mabrey added 19 points. But the rest of the Sun's starters only managed a combined 20 points, with a chunk of it coming late with the game already decided.

Bueckers continues to look like the frontrunner for the Rookie of the Year award. She came into the night averaging 13 points and 6.5 assists per game and had her first career double-double on Wednesday against the Minnesota Lynx (12 points, 10 assists), albeit in a tough night from the field (3-of-11).

There are always bumps in the road for rookies, and Bueckers' 34 percent shooting from the field in her first four games was a bump. But she was the picture of efficiency on Tuesday, reminding the rest of the WNBA of her immense ceiling.
