Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
"What an incredible experience at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend," he wrote. "Thanks to the @foxsports family for putting on an incredible show, and to my friend, the best driver in the world and 7x champion @jimmiejohnson for letting me tag along as we led out the pack. I'll be back, and next time I'm driving!!!
"PS: it was great to get in one more successful drive in front of a bunch of colts fans."
Brady rode alongside Jimme Johnson as they led the field to the track. Fans in attendance, many of whom were surely Colts supporters, greeted him exactly as one would expect:
That Colts fans don't like Brady comes as anything but a surprise. After all, he went 12-3 against their team during his illustrious career and even defeated Indianapolis four times in the playoffs. His showdowns with Peyton Manning defined an entire generation of NFL and quarterback play, and he will always be an enemy in Colts territory.
One of his victories against the Colts in the 2014 AFC Championship Game even led to Deflategate.
Brady was there on Sunday as part of Fox Sports' presentation of the race.
He is one of the faces of the network's NFL coverage as an analyst alongside Kevin Burkhardt and will likely continue receiving opportunities like Sunday's when various events air on Fox.
And he will likely be greeted the same way if Colts fans are around for said events.
