Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb 'Grateful to Have 2 Arms' After Shoulder Injury Rehab

Zach BacharMay 22, 2025

Dallas Cowboys star receiver CeeDee Lamb reflected on his recovery from an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder that caused him to miss the final two games of the 2024 season.

“The longest [rehab]. I want to say a good five months of real recovery and rehab,” Lamb said, via Schuyler Dixon of the Associated Press (h/t Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk). “I don’t know. I’m grateful to have two arms. I can tell you that.”

The four-time Pro Bowl wideout initially suffered the injury during a Week 9 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons last season. He played through the pain, but was forced to leave early with shoulder issues in Week 13 before he was eventually shut down after Week 16.

Despite the injury, Lamb still recorded his fourth consecutive season with at least 1,100 receiving yards.

In 15 starts, he hauled in 101 receptions for 1,194 yards and six touchdowns. Lamb's production was especially impressive considering Dak Prescott only appeared in eight games due to a hamstring injury.

With Lamb and Prescott both expected to be healthy for the start of the 2025 regular season, the Cowboys will look to bounce back from a 7-10 finish in 2024.
