Eagles Sell 'Push On' Shirts After NFL Proposal to Ban Tush Push Fails

Timothy RappMay 22, 2025

To ban the Tush Push, the NFL would have required 24 of the 32 teams to vote in favor of eliminating the play. After an impassioned defense from Eagles' owner Jeffrey Lurie and former center Jason Kelce, the Eagles drummed up just enough support for the play to survive, with only 22 teams voting to outlaw it.

So the Tush Push lives to grind out yards for another day. Long may it reign.
