Jaxson Dart Talks Giants 'Special QB Room,' Relationship with Eli Manning in Video
Jaxson Dart is walking into a crowded quarterbacks room with the New York Giants. So far, however, he's said the experience has been excellent.
"Yeah, they've been great," Dart told Sports Illustrated regarding fellow quarterbacks Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and Tommy DeVito (3:20 mark). "They were three of the first people to reach out to me when I got drafted and heard my name called. I've watched Russ since he was with the Seattle Seahawks, winning a Super Bowl, and I have one of his jerseys. It's great to be in that room. And then getting to learn from guys like Jameis, who has bounced around a few different places but played at such a high level and has such an understanding of the game and knowledge, being able to use him as an asset to learn and continue to grow. And Tommy's a baller, so it's been great to have a relationship with him, and our room is special, we have a special quarterback room."

He also talked about his relationship from Eli Manning, dating back to his time at Ole Miss.
"Eli's been a huge role model of mine," he said. "Even before I got to Ole Miss, watching him beat Tom Brady twice [in the Super Bowl], that was incredible. Not only him, but the whole Manning family was great to me. Specifically Eli was just a great asset, we had a few different things that we ran together there, and anytime I had a question I could reach out and know he was going to be there for me. ... He's been great, making sure I know that I have him in my corner, and if I have questions that I can continue to ask. That's a huge asset for me, because we've built such a genuine connection."
