Josh Allen, Bills to Be Featured on Hard Knocks, NFC East Will Be In-Season Focus

One of the most dominant teams in the NFL will be under the spotlight ahead the 2025 season.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced on Wednesday that the Buffalo Bills will be the team featured on HBO's Hard Knocks during training camp. During the upcoming season, the NFC East will be the focus of the famed series.

According to a release, this marks the first time that the Bills will be featured on Hard Knocks. Buffalo has been one of the most consistent teams in the league for the past few years, with five straight AFC East titles dating back to the 2020 season. Star quarterback Josh Allen was named NFL MVP for the first time in his career following his impressive 2024 campaign.

The NFC East is home to the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, so following the division throughout the year is sure to be an exciting ride. The Dallas Cowboys are hoping to return to prominence after missing the playoffs in 2024. The Washington Commanders are hoping to build off a surprising run to the NFC Championship Game after quarterback Jayden Daniels' breakout rookie year. The New York Giants are likely to produce some interesting storylines amid their ongoing rebuild.

"We are thrilled to provide Hard Knocks fans a summer with the Bills and winter with the Cowboys, Giants, Commanders, and Eagles in the first year of our exciting new deal with NFL Films," HBO executives Nancy Abraham, Lisa Heller and Bentley Weiner said in a joint statement. "There will be no shortage of star power."

Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills will be a five-part series that premieres on Aug. 5, with new episodes airing on Tuesdays through Sept. 2. Hard Knocks: In Season with the NFC East will debut in December.
