SEC Baseball Tournament 2025 Wednesday Schedule and Bracket Predictions
The Tennessee Volunteers need a good run at the 2025 SEC baseball tournament to get on track going into the NCAA baseball tournament.
The eighth-seeded Vols lost five straight series in SEC play to end the regular season.
Tennessee is safely into the NCAA tournament, but in order to have a shot at hosting a regional, it needs to go on a run in Hoover, Alabama over the next few days.
The Vols face off with the Alabama Crimson Tide in what likely will be the game of the day across the four-game slate.
Wednesday's play begins with the rescheduled first-round matchup between the Texas A&M Aggies and Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Tennessee lost four of its last six regular-season games and dropped multiple contests in its last five series of SEC play.
Those set of results are far from good enough for one of the perennial powers of the sport.
Tennessee gets a chance to right its bad form in Hoover, starting with a clash against Alabama.
The Vols took two of three from the Crimson Tide back in March, but in order to pick up a third win this season over Bama, the Vols must solve the Tide's pitching staff.
Alabama held the 16th-seeded Missouri Tigers to one run on Tuesday. It has allowed more than five earned runs in a win just once since April 24.
The losses in that span haven't been great for Bama, as it allowed 56 runs across five defeats.
Tennessee must get to Alabama's staff early to get its bats going and take the Tide out of the contest.
The Georgia Bulldogs are expected to win Wednesday's third game versus the Oklahoma Sooners.
Georgia won its regular-season series with the Sooners. It scored 16 runs in those two wins and scored six more runs in the lone loss of that matchup.
Georgia needs to keep winning to improve its national seed in the NCAA tournament. The Bulldogs are currently projected to be the No. 5 overall seed, per D1 Baseball.
The Florida Gators and Ole Miss Rebels played three high-scoring games at the end of March. Fifty combined runs were scored, including two games with 19 runs each.
Florida just put up 11 runs on the South Carolina Gamecocks in the first round, while Ole Miss scored at least eight runs in each of its last four games.
Wednesday's opener is all about the Texas A&M Aggies staying alive in the hunt for the field of 64. The Aggies must beat Mississippi State to have a chance of getting into the field, but the Bulldogs are 9-1 in their last 10 games.
