Caitlin Clark Names Serena, LeBron, Steph, Mahomes, Nelly Korda in Her Starting 5
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark knows star power when she sees it.
She named her starting five in a jumbotron video ahead of Saturday's game against the Chicago Sky, and it consisted of tennis legend Serena Williams, golfing star Nelly Korda, three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes, and basketball icons LeBron James and Stephen Curry.

It wasn't exactly clear what it was a starting five for, but it's hard to argue with the names on the list.
Williams is considered one of, if not the, greatest tennis players in history with a resume that includes 23 Grand Slam titles. James and Curry have combined for eight titles as the faces of the current generation of the NBA, while Mahomes is already in discussions with Tom Brady and Joe Montana for the best quarterback of all time.
As for Korda, she is a two-time major champion and currently ranked as the No. 1 LPGA player in the world. Clark is a golfer herself and even played in a pro-am event alongside Korda, so it was a notable inclusion in her list.
While she was too humble to include herself in her own starting five, Clark would likely be on plenty of such lists from others.
After all, she is the all-time NCAA Division I leading scorer for men's or women's basketball and is already one of the faces of the WNBA at the start of her second season. The reigning Rookie of the Year is a major reason Indiana has championship aspirations in 2025.
The Fever are off to quite the start, as they handled Angel Reese and the Sky with ease in a 93-58 blowout victory in the season opener.
