The 37-year-old Auburn alum kicked off her 16th WNBA season with a bang, etching her name further into the league's history books by reaching the milestone in just 503 games.
Still ahead of Bonner on the all-time scoring list are Connecticut Sun star Tina Charles, who has tallied 7,696 points, and the recently retired Phoenix Mercury legend Diana Taurasi, who sits firmly at No. 1 with 10,646 career points.
The Fever forward is coming off a 2024 season in which she averaged 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists for the Sun before signing with Indiana in February.
โI donโt know if I, in 15 years, have been on a team where we had this much firepower throughout the whole roster,โ Bonner said during Fever training camp, per Fever Basketball's Madie Chandler. โโฆWe can just go any way any given night, and just be unpredictable.โ
The two-time WNBA champion continues to rack up milestones but has her sights set on one goal above allโcapturing her third championship.
โIโve been around for a while,โ Bonner said, per Chandler. โThereโs nothing that I havenโt accomplished that I want but to win another championship.โ
