Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier and Jordan Brand have officially agreed to a shoe deal.

"It feels amazing," Collier told Pat Benson of Kicks on SI in an exclusive interview regarding the deal.

"Jordan Brand just represents greatness, and I feel like that is something that I have always aspired to be and want to be a part of. So, being able to partner with Jordan, I think it's just such an actual progression for me in my career, and I couldn't be more excited."

It's no surprise that Collier and Jordan Brand agreed to a deal. Collier is one of the WNBA's brightest stars. She's a four-time All-Star who has earned All-WNBA First Team nods in each of the last two seasons. Collier landed on last year's First Team after averaging 20.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.4 blocks per game.

The reigning Defensive Player of the Year also nearly led the Lynx to the WNBA championship, as Minnesota took the New York Liberty to the five-game series limit before falling in overtime in the final matchup.

Last summer, Collier also helped lead Team USA to a gold medal in the Summer Olympics.

Then Collier enjoyed a great winter in the league she co-founded with Liberty star Brenna Stewart, winning MVP honors in the inaugural season of Unrivaled.

Now Collier and the Lynx are gearing up for their WNBA season, which opens on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET when they visit Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings.
