Chargers Use Pop-Tarts Memes for Opponents to Tease 2025 NFL Schedule Release
The Los Angeles Chargers teased the release of their 2025 NFL schedule with some creativity.
In what has become an annual tradition, the team's social media account revealed their opponents for the upcoming season by comparing them to a fake brand of Pop-Tarts that the franchise felt suited the team.

Here's a look at how the Chargers characterized their opponents.
The Chargers had some references that were focused on the team uniforms, like the Eagles being "Mountain Dew flavored" and also referenced specific players like "hair flavored" for Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
The references for the divisional opponents were a bit more snide as the team posted a photo of a horse eating a Pop-Tart for the Denver Broncos, a ouija board-flavor for the Kansas City Chiefs and a black mold-flavor for a imageless team that was tagged as the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Chargers had some fun ahead of the schedule release, but the attention will soon turn towards defeating these opponents. Los Angeles went 11-6 in 2024 and fell in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. The franchise has not won a playoff game since 2018 but hopes a culture being built by quarterback Justin Herbert and head coach Jim Harbaugh will steer them in the right direction.
The 2025 NFL Schedule is set to be fully released Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET.
