Jets vs. Stars Betting Odds, Player Props and Picks for May 13

Connor Hellebuyck’s play on the road in the Winnipeg Jets goal is the biggest detriment to the Stanley Cup hopes of the Presidents’ Trophy winner. 

Hellebuyck allowed five goals to the Dallas Stars in Game 3 of the Western Conference second-round series. 

The Jets’ netminder allowed five or six goals in his three road contests with the St. Louis Blues as well. 

Until Hellebuyck finds any form on the road, you have to bet against him and the Jets.

Dallas Team Total Over 3.5 (+110) 

Hellebuyck’s road stats speak for themselves. 

He allowed five or six goals in his three road games against the Blues and conceded five more in Game 3 versus the Stars. 

The numbers are simply stunning because Hellebuyck is arguably the best goalie in the world right now.

Dallas scored at least four goals in four of its six playoff wins and five times in total across 10 postseason games. 

Roope Hintz Over 0.5 Points (-154) 

Much has been made about Mikko Rantanen’s incredible postseason, but his props are now elevated because of that success. He is the only player with a point prop of over/under 1.5 for Game 4. 

Roope Hintz’s numbers have benefited from Rantanen’s production with three points over three games, including a goal and an assist in Game 3. 

If Rantanen continues at his scorching pace (6 points in the series), his linemate and fellow Finn Hintz should be involved on the scoring plays. 

Hintz has 10 points of his own this postseason, so it’s a great price at -154 for one point instead of banking on Rantanen to get two.

Dallas Money Line (-155) 

Winnipeg can’t be trusted on the road until Hellebuyck figures everything out in net away from Manitoba. 

The Jets are 0-4 on the road this postseason and they have been outscored 22-7 in those games. 

Dallas is 4-1 at home and it hasn’t lost on home ice since Game 1 against the Colorado Avalanche.
